Phnom Penh International University believes that quality assurance is a continuous institutional responsibility. The IQA Unit works across all four faculties, the Postgraduate School, and administrative departments to establish standards, monitor performance, and support ongoing improvement.

PPIU received full accreditation by the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia (ACC) on 5 May 2020. PPIU is also the only Cambodian university awarded the EU-SHARE Institutional Assessment in 2018.
