Master

Public Policy

The Master of Public Policy (MPP) at Phnom Penh International University (PPIU) is a curriculum designed to transform professionals into highly adaptive policy strategists and economic analysts. In an era defined by rapid globalization, digital transformation, and shifting public expectations, this program emphasizes data-driven policy analysis, public sector innovation, and operational excellence. PPIU equips graduate students with the advanced critical-thinking tools, statistical modeling capabilities, and research precision necessary to evaluate public programs, manage complex public-private partnerships, and navigate the bureaucratic intricacies of modern governance. Graduates are uniquely positioned to excel as senior executive administrators, policy consultants, and implementation leaders in a rapidly changing world. To complete master program in Public Policy, students have 2 options. Option 1: Students have to complete 11 courses, equal to 33 credits and must complete their Master's thesis with proposal defense and final defense, which is equal to 12 credits. Option 2: Students have to complete 13 courses, equal to 39 credits and must complete their research proposal with a defense, which is equal to 6 credits. For the state exam, students have to be examined on 2 courses in Major Courses. PPIU strongly recommend student choose option 1. Students who want to pursue master course is not in majoring of bachelor, they must take pre-master with 3 courses such; Introduction to Law, Introduction to Cambodia Legal System, Introduction to Political Science. If student has relevant experience and can provide documentation, the Postgraduate School will consider waiving some courses in the pre-master program.

Entry Requirements

What you need to apply.

Academic Requirement:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent certificate in a related field. If a student has an academic background in a different major from their bachelor's degree, they must complete a pre-master program with 3 subjects. If student has relevant experience and can provide documentation, the Postgraduate School will consider waiving some courses in the pre-master program.

Khmer instruction. Some programs in English.
