Phnom Penh International University (PPIU), in collaboration with the National Defence University, led students to participate in the traditional fishing festival of Beng Kong Village, located in Prasat Bakong District, Siem Reap Province. The event was organized in cooperation with the Prasat Bakong District Administration on Sunday, February 8, 2026, corresponding to the sixth waning moon of Meak in the Year of the Snake, Buddhist Era 2569.

The festival attracted a large number of Cambodian residents and international visitors, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere under the umbrella of peace.

Following the conclusion of the festival, the National Defence University also led students in cleaning the environment surrounding the lake. This meaningful initiative helped ensure that the area remained clean and free of litter and waste after the event, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental protection and community responsibility.
