PPIU Honors Athletes, Artists, and Volunteers for Their Contributions to the SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games

Phnom Penh International University (PPIU) Holds Appreciation Ceremony for Athletes, Artists, and Volunteers of the 32nd SEA Games, 12th ASEAN Para Games, and PPIU Sangkran 2023

Phnom Penh International University (PPIU) organized a gathering and appreciation ceremony to present certificates of gratitude to athletes, artists, performers, and volunteers who contributed to the 32nd SEA Games, the 12th ASEAN Para Games, and the PPIU Sangkran 2023 program.

The ceremony was presided over by Lok Chumteav Oknha Tep Kolap, President of Phnom Penh International University, on June 24, 2023.

On this occasion, the University President also presented incentive awards to the athletes in recognition of their efforts and achievements.

She highly praised the dedication and commitment of the young volunteers who actively participated in the organization and promotion of the SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia. She highlighted initiatives such as the “Beyond The Games” campaign, emphasizing that the contributions of youth volunteers played a vital role and were one of the key factors behind the success of this historic sporting event.

She further stated that the young people who volunteered during the SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games had made a meaningful contribution to bringing honor and pride to the nation.

During the event, Lok Chumteav Oknha Tep Kolap also shared her personal experiences from her youth, recalling how she devoted her time, energy, and determination to various volunteer activities and community service initiatives.

She encouraged all young people to continue engaging in social and volunteer activities, to share kindness, help others, and contribute positively to society. She emphasized that these acts of goodwill represent invaluable virtues that cannot be measured or replaced.
