Phnom Penh International University (PPIU) collaborated with the National Defense University to lead students to participate in

the traditional fishing festival of the villagers of Pegung in Prasat Bakong District, Siem Reap Province, with the cooperation of

the Prasat Bakong District Administration, on Sunday, 6th of the month of Meak, Masang, Saptsak,

Buddhist Era 2569, corresponding to February 8, 2026.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of compatriots and foreign guests in a happy atmosphere under the roof of peace.

After the ceremony, the National Defense University also led the students to join in cleaning the environment around the lake,

which is a good activity to ensure a clean environment without garbage and waste around the lake after the ceremony.
